About Me

Hello,
Grab a seat and let me introduce myself. My name is Suzanne and I used live in Seoul Korea.I'm back in the Bay now! I’m from the Bay Area of California, USA. For those of you who don’t know it, that’s the Silicon Valley. The heart and soul of the computer industry. Now after finishing a degree in History I discovered two things….I didn’t have the money for the PHD I aspired too and there aren’t a lot of jobs for historians. So through a strange twist of fate I ended up an Engineer.
How you ask? Back then it was a trade you learned on the job. And someone offered me the job. So I spent many years putting together and fixing networks for large companies.
After the . com bust. ( From which the valley still suffers terribly) I ended up doing several things…I biked a lot, I wrote my first book, and I did some industrial safety.
Since by nature I’m a worthless drifter, I’m currently teaching English in South Korea.
I think Korea is fun and the people are nice.
While that’s not necessarily every ones opinion I make friends easily and move a lot. The decision to come here wasn’t difficult and the move was not traumatic. But as I stated earlier I’m a drifter by nature.
Some things to know…I belly dance, I read a combination of fiction and non…so if I slip into rambling about Quantum Physics or Philosophy feel free to skip it. I love art and photography. If I slip into geeky talk…I’m sorry…feel free to skip it. I’ve traveled a lot…so I probably tell you places remind me of other countries.
Anyway my blog is just a bit of fun to let people stay in touch with what I’ve been doing.
So feel free to have a good laugh at my expense and forget your worries for a moment.
