Well it's a day before I leave for Seoul Korea. I spent a hour looking for my international long term travel suitcase. Because you see I have luggage in diffrent catagories.
I have the backpack- it's a new one. I got it when I was in Thailand. I was happy to trash the old back pack which looked like I had dragged it around the world. Because I had....It was gettitng to the nasty stage. Though several people told me it looked cool. I thought it looked abused. The new pack is rather nice though. It's the kind I dreamed about when I was younger and stuck with the hold one.
It has a removable day pack. and internal frame.
I also have the duffle bag with wheels. I've had it for a good while. It's also circled the globe. But it's in much better shape than the old pack was. It was not such a intamate traveling companion as the pack. It didn't live through endless trains and boats.
I eventually found the international suitcase. It's hard sided and a bit scuffed. Okay, it looks like a monkey jumped on it. I also discovered that I can't get it open. Now I always set my luggage combo to the same thing...I put it in...and nothing happened...I put it in again...and once again...nothing happend.
So I desided it was a sign from God. The suitcase stays here.
Now I also have the imported Italian suitcase. It's one of the ones with a long handle and wheels. It was a gift from a former employer. It doesn't hold enough to take on this trip. which makes me kinda sad....Because it's spiffy and upscale.
I have realsied today that I have alot of luggage...
I also realised that I have less stuff than I thought, because it all fit into the duffle and the pack.
I think I'm un-american.
I don't have much stuff
Someday I'll get into the habit of keeping things...
It will happen after I stop moving all the time....
Which will happen soon, cause I'm getting older you know....
I bound to settle down any day now....
