A Bit of Seoul

Cruise

Well folks I just booked a cruise from Italy for my birthday. In a way it's to make up for my very stinky bday last year.

This year I'm flying to Rome with mom, we'll have a day to kick around then we are off to our cruise ship. It's brand new and rated 6 stars...we have  a balcony room...any way our ship goes to Italy,France, Spain, Sciliy, Malta, and Tunisia.

Hopefully it will be a nice trip!

Halo

Well I spent the afternoon with the horse and had a lovely time. The bottom line though is I need a taller mounting block I'm just to short and old to get on a 15 hand horse with a standard one...so my new quest is to find one that is high enough...or something safe to stand on that is high enough.

After that I played Halo with Andrew...he started out nice then switched the game without telling me and started killing me over and over...he liked that a lot.

The Aunty

Well the Aunty is quite tired, I took Andrew to The Museum of Natural History in SF. We went with Sandy and the kids, and it was a long day. There was lots to see and do....and after the kids got tired a few melt downs. Andrew tells me that Jason is is best friend...isn't that cute?

1 week

Well I've been fasting for a week and it's going well. It's been a fairly easy experiance so far. I did excersize to many days in a row and ended up being really tired yesterday. So I took today off the treadmill. Other than that I feel good.

I did work out that if I get hungry while out and about I can just grab a iced latte....the calories are about right for a drink subsitute and it's easy to get. I don't do coffee in the morning any more but I had a latte the other day and the cafine didn't bother me. So there you go.

Sad

Well I'm losing one of my Domain Controllers and I'm sad. Vishnu was my poor little over worked donkey, who had so much stuff on her she shouldn't have even ran. I lightened her elderly load but unfortunatly her OS is corrupting. Now yes, I can repair...but I might lose her anyway.

Now those of you who know networks know that technically I am god, so I can remake her. But it's not going to be the same as the little, old, poorly designed home made server I found when I took over the network.

I removed her roles encase I lose her, cause I can't lose my global catalog....which is kinda like stripping her dignity from her.

Right now I'm juggling old hardware...sigh....

Fasting is still going well..nope don't think of food at all.....

Head

Well my first day of fasting passed without note. No I wasn't hungry and didn't think about food. Last night I forgot to take Benadrill and woke up feeling it. I had a head ache half the day and still feel like  my head is going to pop off...ugh

Going Fast

Well I've started fasting today, for those of you who have never done it. It's easier if you work into it. IE. cut out meals one by one...till you are down to none. I'm still drinking coffee though..which I'm sure would make the hard core health nuts crazy..but it's easier to fast than to cut out coffee...so doing both at the same time is way hard. It's easier to start fasting then cut out coffee. Cut down on the amount you drink till it's down to none...makes caffine withdrawls easier cause the head aches suck.

One of the rubs with this is I've only done protien fasts, so that what I'm doing ( protien drinks) with the idea of getting used to it then maybe switching onto a juice fast. Cause I'm not sure a protien fast witll resolve allergies. But maybe it will...I'll let you know if it does. If you are asking why I'm doing a protien fast and not a juice fast...well I don't have a juicer. And I'm unsure about drinking V8 only for a fast ( most people insist you need too make your own juice) though I've seen people mentioning V8 for work, so I don't know. But I'm also lazy so the idea of making my own juice is not inspiring at all.

I know I should be a better person buy a juicer and make my own organic juice day after day...but well you know...I'm just not a better person so there you go.

Allergies

Well I assure you guys that walking on my treadmill has been difficult for me this week. I've walked only because had too...I do use it to control my blood sugar..so I plod away day after day. But one of the tree's in my yard looks like a giant ball of pollen...and my sinuses have been killing me. I'm still considering fasting. The internet SWEARS it will resolve allergies and asthma. So I'm still considering a nice long fast. I've been eyeballing a cleanse too...but they look kinda icky..so I have mentally chew on that one more.
I've been drinking water and apple cider vinegar before meals to help regulate my blood sugar. It seems to work well enough and as a added bonus it cleared up the ENDLESS indigestion and heart burn I had. I honestly didn't think it would but low and behold it did. Odd huh?
On the up side I like fasting so a few months of no food would be cool...on the down side I need to supply food for the kid and old lady...and I'm not exactly domestic...which is why I like fasting.
